there's not really a perfect solution for both issues at once tho- if your body isn't suited for super-spontaneous sex, you might need to just work within those limits. I do recommend lube, it might do the trick. my fella was also a Big Boy in comparison and it helped a lot.

Arcanima does much the same, though it uses geometries and occasionally a catalyst rather than various components. The geometric shapes of your matrices determines the flow and shape of the aether you channel through it.

I've ever been one to break all limits. I will make sure he creates lubricant enough to facilitate my more spontaneous assaults of his person, and I suppose in the worst of cases I can merely use curative magicks afterwards if need be.

Still, it is annoying. If I want him inside of me that very moment, I want him inside of me that moment. Sometimes I simply have no patience to wait. It is good, exhausting, and satisfying exercise. Something this world is otherwise very lacking in.

yeah ours are like that too sometimes. usually a somatic or verbal part of it along with the component. my spellbook's full of whacky math, and a lot of rituals involve sigils and runes and all that fun jazz. actually a number of the soul-affecting spells are that way, so we might get into it at some point.

and dude believe you me I totally get ya. sometimes you just gotta sit on a dick and damn the consequences. bodies have a way of working themselves through what they want, but try not to hurt yourself too much in the process. everything's sensitive down there and you'd hate to do the sort of damage that means you can't have any sexin' for a while

Many of my abilities as a Dark Knight use runes, though I needn't draw them — they appear as I cast. I don't quite understand the intricacies of a Dark Knight's abilities, save for them being based upon the desire to protect.

With arcanima, I often don't need enchanted, conductive inks. Once you've done a spell often enough the shapes are burned into your mind's eye, and the only real benefit of drawing them is there is less wastage of one's aether.

I enjoy some measure of pain. It is far more familiar to me than pleasure. Thus far I've not been injured, but I know of spells that would heal any injuries in a scant few moments.

sometimes powers are like that, I've noticed. it's a huge pain in the ass from an outsider's perspective, but as long as it gets the job done, oh well.

typically for me having a spell already on paper is enough to cover that part of the incantation, but it varies spell to spell. it's all arbitrary too, the spell level doesn't even factor in. magic's fun and wild, that's what I love about it. The randomness is part of that.

It is not 'taboo' as far as I'm aware, though I wouldn't care even if it was.

Aside from black and white magic, the only taboo I am aware of is those of different species being romantically involved. This is something highly frowned upon by at least seven nations, though there are no laws against it.

sounds normal. magic can be an incredibly competitive field, and everyone's vying to be the next top dog. scrolls and ink for this sort of thing are also outrageously expensive, so not only is it profitable to create your own, you can sell what you develop for a nice sum of gold. it's a bit like art in that sense.

damn though, that's bull. can't say that's a widespread problem on my world- too many different types of folks around, in or out of government, to police that shit. usually it's how you act that gets you shanked, not who you're boning. though there's always assholes who'll use any excuse to get under your skin.

and sure, I'll throw something together. can't think of a return atm, but if you're the sort of person who's bothered by that, I'll keep that in mind next time I need a favour.

There are more sapient races in my home worlds than I can list in a single breath, so it is incomprehensible to me why such a taboo exists. Though at least no one seems to care a wit who you bone — only who you wish to love.
