They are the perfect length to act as something to brace themselves with when firing giant beams of energy from their jaws like a canon.
So long as it is only Honerva and no questions are asked that should be alright. I can explain things to you once it's over and I've recovered, unless things go wrong. Should that happen just give Ardbert some time and he can answer any questions.
Something tells me t-rexs are very different in your neck of the woods.
I'm fine with keeping things on the down-low at first, on the caveat of getting some details after the fact if things go tits up. I do have to ask, though- just how much danger are we talking? What's the distance we should be covering? Honerva's more squishy than she used to be so I'll have to drop her off at a safe zone if it gets messy.
The area will be one-hundred yards in diametre. Staying at a range of 150 yards should be safe for you and Honerva. I will be the primary target, and while my opponent's attacks are powerful the range is limited.
I will, yes. Though if we reach a point where additional help is needed it will be too late.
Should things go well I expect to be unconscious for a few days, and largely incapacitated for another five to seven days. Should things go badly I'll be dead.
In either case, if you could keep an eye on Ardbert for me in the following days I would appreciate it a great deal.
Oooh yeah that is a hell of a lot more serious than I was imagining. You sure this is all you're gonna need? I wasn't expecting the threat of sudden death or anything.
Fortunately I have enough comrades from home now that I have enough frontline support. At the moment your peripheral support would be the biggest help.
I will be temporarily separating my soul from my body, so no matter what happens I will technically be dead for a brief period. Unless someone else does something reckless I should be the only casualty.
Ardbert will be understandably upset in the aftermath, so his well-being is one of my primary concerns.
I filled his communicator with a fortnight's worth of multiple daily reminders and messages, which should help him a fair bit. I've pre-prepared meals as well... Though if you're able, I would not mind commissioning a large order of lamb stew from you for the day after.
Would you be able to spare a half hour or so to wash my body for me?
Neither of my partners will be in the right state for such a thing, and while I will ask Gaius to ensure there are multiple options available, it is a bit..
I doubt he would mind, as is no stranger to bathing his children, but the thought of him having to clean the blood off my tits is still too embarrassing.
lol NOT the request I'd expected, but sure. Wouldn't be the weirdest thing I've ever done with a body.
If you think you're all going to be as wasted as it sounds, why don't I just save a spell slot for the mansion and everyone who wants or needs to can get food, take a bath and a nap there for the night, rather than dragging themselves back into town?
For the others, I'm expecting them to suffer from bruising, aches, and exhaustion rather than any truly physical wounds...
So the mansion would be a wonderful boon in the aftermath. It would certainly make things a great deal simpler. Thank you, Lup.
Ardyn will be assisting in the fight, and will be protecting Noctis throughout. It will be stressful for him but he will pretend as though it isn't. He will likely forget to mention to Honerva that he's heading into combat, so please tattle on him if he doesn't tell her once things are over.
Sure, no problem. It's wasteful to have it and not use it with friends, after all.
I swear if that man didn't have his head attached he'd forget to let people know he has a brain, sometimes. I'll ask her if she knows what's up and be sure she knows that she can yell at him if he's kept mum.
Gods I love idiots but I do not love the attached headaches
I doubt she would know at the moment, as all those involved know not to share it with anyone until the last moment, and even then with minimal details. So let's see if Ardyn will inform her on his own. Then, when he doesn't, you can tell her and she can make him regret it.
I don't want people to know about my brush with death, but Honerva may need to be told later on if it reminds Ardyn too much of past trauma and he keeps quiet about it.
Aww, that's cute, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Sure, we'll try that first.
Pretty sure there's no way to get out of this without a few people annoyed at a few other people. Just the nature of the game. So long as those involved at least pretend to apologize, it ought to turn out more or less okay.
girl you can't take on all the world's flaws. If folks don't take responsibility for their mistakes they'll keep on making them like total dipshits, and that does no one any favours.

Don't worry, though. If shit goes tits up, we'll take care of him.
